Lucy and Sushi are two of the names that got mistaken for my name when introducing myself in the UK. I’m using them as the name of this project.
LucySushi is an open-ended project, taking the form of me writing for now. I’m writing to make sense of my experience and give voice to my positionality. I’m also hoping this will lead to conversations with others, as we connect through difference and build collective power.
